Laurie was a wonderful host. My fiancé and I were there for our wedding. Laurie had asked if we were celebrating anything special during our time there. To our surprise she had left beautiful roses and a cake for us to enjoy. Not to mention snacks and plenty of coffee for the Keurig. Laurie also text us to make sure our stay was comfortable and if anything was needed. The condo is in a great location within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. The condo was nicely decorated and clean. Would recommended. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo.

Laurie’s place is the perfect location for accessing the park and the city of Gatlinburg. The downtown strip is walking distance (it’s better to walk there because parking is scarce and expensive). We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was very good (easy walking distance to the strip). Check in/out were easy and the host was very responsive. I made breakfast daily and packed our cooler for lunch each day. The appliances worked well and the pans were all clean and in good shape. We had 2 adults and 2 teenage girls.

Laurie’s place was wonderful! Lots of snacks provided and a pool for the kids to play in. It was only 0.3 miles to walk to Anakeesta & the aquarium. Plus, it was a short drive to many of the park’s trails and visitor center. Laurie was very attentive and did everything she could to make our stay great!

The location is PERFECT - off the busy strip, but closest enough to walk to everything. The unit was clean and well-appointed, even had small fridge/freezer in addition to the mini-fridge. Uber and Lyft is pretty much non-existent, which made it very very difficult to go anywhere outside of where we could walk.

The location is great! The room is very nice and modern; however, the facility amenities are okay. The WiFi is pretty off and on and the pool/hot tub are okay, but that’s not why you rent this place. The location, comfortable stay, and affordability are what makes this Airbnb worth the stay.

This condo was such a great place to stay, Laurie was very responsive when I had questions. The only problem, as said in a few reviews, was the WiFi. This isn’t her fault, but would’ve been an inconvenience if we had used the TV a lot. They do have signs saying that it is being upgraded. Besides that the location was great, was only a couple blocks from downtown. Will be staying again at one of her locations!

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was adorable, clean and incredibly well-stocked! The location cannot be beat - less than a 5 minute walk to the heart of the strip and easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and Pigeon Forge without having to drive on the congested Gatlinburg streets. The pool and hot tub were great, and even though the complex and surrounding area were fairly active, we had no issues with the noise level at any point. Another reviewer pointed out that the complex's wifi was quite slow, which was also our experience; however, crews were actually there upgrading the equipment during our stay - so this may be a non-issue moving forward. Either way, it really didn't bother us. We would be honored to stay with Laurie again in the future!

This place was in a great location and you could easily walk to your destinations and we enjoyed our getaway. We valued the postcards that were left on our arrival. The only issues we had was that the WiFi was not fully addressed before booking this place. Once we booked it, we then had to sign an agreement and it does say that the WiFi is not strong enough to support Netflix, etc and that you have to use personal hotspot..well I don’t have hotspot. The Airbnb listing should have it disclosed in the details. I understand that the WiFi is an issue throughout the entire building but it should be advised to anyone before booking this place. Plus I don’t understand why there’s a cleaning fee of $70, when we were told to take out the trash. It’s my understanding that it’s one of the cleaning lady’s tasks.

GREAT location if you’re looking to spend a lot of time on the strip. However, due to photos we weren’t expecting just a full sized bed. That was very hard/uncomfortable for two adults (especially since I’m pregnant) to sleep on together.

She even got us a little care package with snacks and mask, etc. anytime we visit we will be staying with her. I could not recommend this room and Laurie enough! Nice view from the balcony and this room was much bigger than I expected (we didn’t need a lot of room but it was still very spacious). Will be coming back 😁

We were not able to stay at this location due to the condition of it when we arrived. The pictures are NOT representative of the space. Everything (I mean everything: floors, walls, door frames, furniture, etc.) is stained, dirty, or otherwise gross. This place is described as Romance in the Smokies; however, I cannot imagine coming here for my honeymoon. Because of the condition of the space, we were forced to ask for a refund, and were left in a lurch about where to stay. The two positives about this place were the location (close to the main strip) and the host’s communication and responsiveness to our issues.

First off, this condo is the perfect distance from the city. Definitely walking distance, but not too far. The unit itself was super classy and homey. My friend and I both slept comfortably both nights we spent here. Laurie provided so much awesome info that made our trip super easy (restaurant/activity recs) and that made a huge difference. She was also a super quick responder and obviously cared about keeping her customers happy. Thanks for helping us have a great vacation 🙂

We took our two little boys (2 years and 9 months old) on a weekend trip to Gatlinburg and had the pleasure of staying at Laurie’s place. She had an excellent book of places to try and we checked off quite a few. She had a welcome gift of a mug with local taffies (such a sweet touch). The place is such a quick walk to everything and with young kids it’s nice to stop by and let them nap and go back out. The bed was comfortable. The AC works nicely. The pull out couch in the living room was perfect for our toddler and we brought our pack n play for the baby which also fit in the living room with the pull out bed. The complex is nice and quiet. The complex had a pool and if it weren’t raining most of the time we were there, we would have used it. It was a great time. We will definitely be back!

The location of this condo is OUTSTANDING. You are literally minutes from everything. The condo is stylish and the little touches push it over the top. It was amazing for a quick weekend away for two. (One Note: The mattress is quite firm. Just something to be aware of if you don't like a firm bed!)

This place is the perfect location! We walked to essentially every activity we wanted to do on our trip. The condo is cozy, cute and clean. If you plan on cooking like we did, it might be a good idea to bring a pot and some aluminum foil for leftovers (those were things we needed for our meal). Overall a great stay!

How can you do better than a ground-floor stay within a short walking distance of the Gatlinburg strip? I absolutely loved the convenience of this location, and Laurie’s local tips were FANTASTIC for this seasoned Gatlinburg tourist. Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. We have used Airbnb domestically and overseas and this condo was by far one of if not the best to date. The host exceeded our expectations, her communications were outstanding, local tips were wonderful, the condo was very well done and comfortable, and the directions and property bio spot on. If you are looking for a place in the Gatlinburg area, we wholeheartedly recommend this unit. It is walking distance to main street, on the trolley line, and easily accessible. Pros: Laurie's space is a PERFECT location for walking anywhere in downtown Gatlinburg. The space was decorated well and boasts a romantic feel as everything from floor to ceiling is black, gold, and sequins. Cons: There was no instructions on how to check-in through Airbnb, it was all direct message from the host (I did not prefer the numerous texts I had to communicate back and forth). The check-in and checkout times were also inaccurate from what the host had text me after I booked. Also, the listing stated that breakfast wad provided, which it was not (I searched high and low for ANYTHING breakfast related, but found nothing. Lastly, the most irritating thing was being asked to leave $50 on the counter for a cleaning fee that was mistakenly not added to the original listing. I booked the space based off of the Total Price given (didn't include any cleaning fees)- false advertising if you don't disclose a cleaning fee until after guests have already booked. IF this was a fluke scenario and wouldn't happen to any future guests, I would recommend this space to others looking to travel to the Gatlinburg area. It was a great location central to downtown.

It was super clean and spacious, and included everything from a coffee bar to all kitchen essentials. She added thoughtful touches, a gift bag fill with goodies. The location was everything. We were in walking distance from all attractions, Gatlinburg had to offer. The pricing was very affordable. This stay was PERFECT. I can’t imagine staying in another Airbnb that doesn’t meet these standards. Laurie was a great host that responded to all questions quickly. I will definitely book with her again.
